Music as Belonging, Connection & Healing
Aniya Savage’s music radiates gentle power and courage through vulnerability. Her songwriting is a window into the subconscious, where melodies uncover truths—sometimes surprising, sometimes cathartic—always deeply felt.
Performing for pin-drop attentive audiences while supporting Snow Patrol after lockdown rekindled her love for live music. The collective focus, the openness—it was a reminder that performing is not just an art but a calling, a sense of home.
When she sang before 90,000 people in Munich, opening for Robbie Williams, the sheer scale of the crowd was surreal. Yet, even in that vastness, she found connection—one engaged listener among thousands, proving that music is a bridge, no matter the size of the stage.
Her 2023 EP, Flawed not Floored, shared songs of heartbreak, rage, and refuge, earning airplay on BBC Radio Bristol and Ujima Radio. Her debut EP Howl toured 16 UK and French dates, a mental health-focused project, titled Behind The Screens, premiering the music video for Earthquakes.
For Aniya, songwriting is an act of discovery—sometimes daunting, always transformative. It’s a journey toward love and acceptance, and a belief that music can reshape the world, fostering understanding and helping others flourish.
